This is amount of INcident SOLar radiATION
on the surface of the earth. Essentially, how much sunlight you receive.
Why is knowing the insolation level important?
By knowing what the insolation level is for your region we can
determine the size of solar collector that will serve you best. The lower the insolation level the more collector tubes you will need for your solar heating system.
